Katie entered a grouping of photos she took in Greece this last Spring. She and Emma got to go along with their Dad, when he had a chess trip to Athens. She got First Place, and Best of Class.

Katie has been working SO HARD on this quilt. She sunprinted and dyed the fabric, then sewed it together crazy-quilt style. All the fabric in the quilt was white when she started--pretty different now! First Place, and Best of Class.

Aunt Elizabeth gave Katie the materials and instructions on how to make plaid soap for Christmas this last year. Good thing, because we would never have figured out how to make it on our own, but it looks pretty amazing. First Place and Best of Class.

Emma took the most amazing picture of a sailboat on a family trip to Sea Ranch this last year. Unfortunately, the Fair somehow damaged it. It has a hole poked right through it!! The judges didn't mind--First Place!
